When I moved to Malaysia in 2010 for work, I decided to chronicle my life in a new country through a blog. While my site did start as a semi-weekly update of my life as I adjusted to a different lifestyle, it soon expanded to include travel stories, reflections and one crazy protest I wasn't supposed to be at...
In October of 2011, I began an 11-month long adventure backpacking across Asia and decided to approach my blog differently. Instead of a regular update on my travels (which was proving tedious and time-consuming), I changed "Erica in Wonderland" to include only my most colorful and entertaining stories, as well as photo essays from the most beautiful places I found.
In the fall of 2015, my blog changed again to chronicle the adventures of my life in Michigan, some of which are also featured on the blog for Under the Radar Michigan, Michigan's travel show.
Below are links to some of my favorites!
God Smells Like Jasmine
The Big Jump
Bridge Over Troubled Water
Why You Shouldn't Jump Out of Trains
Big Girls Do Cry: Disaster in Southern Laos
Off the Beaten Track
The Ups and Downs of Riding a Camel
The 18-Hour Train Ride From Hell

Noel Night: A Christmas Celebration in the D
